17. Overdrive Unit and Fourth Clutch Assembly Removal

1. Remove the fourth clutch retainer (501).





2. Remove the turbine shaft and overrun clutch housing assembly (506-526) with the fourth clutch plates (502-503).





3. Remove the overdrive carrier thrust bearing assembly (527).
4. Remove the overdrive internal gear (528).
5. Remove the internal gear thrust washer (529).
