Door Window Guide Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disable SIR system, if equipped with inflatable restraint side impact system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Front door window in the up position.
3. Remove front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair.
4. Remove front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
5. Remove inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate, if equipped. Refer to SIR Sensor Mounting Plate Replacement - Front Door (SIR Sensor Mounting Plate Replacement - Front Door).




6. Remove front door window guide screws.
7. Remove front door window guide.

Installation Procedure




1. Install front door window guide.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install front door window guide screws.

Tighten the window guide screws to 7 Nm (62 lb in).

3. Install inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate, if equipped. Refer to SIR Sensor Mounting Plate Replacement - Front Door (SIR Sensor Mounting Plate Replacement - Front Door).
4. Install front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair.
5. Install front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair.
6. Enable SIR system, if equipped with inflatable restraint side impact system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
