Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble

1. If necessary, install the steering column closeout trim covers to the upper trim covers.





2. Install the upper trim covers (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install 1 pan head tapping screw (2) to the upper trim covers (1).
- Tighten the pan head tapping screw to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).





4. Install the lower trim covers (2) onto the steering column.
5. Attach the steering column closeout trim covers to the lower trim covers.
6. Install the 2 pan head tapping screws (3) to the lower trim covers (2).
- Tighten the pan head tapping screws to 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.).
7. Install the tilt knob onto the steering column.
8. Install the necessary wire harness straps.
