Intermittent/Inoperative Analog Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster Concerns (Replace I/P Cluster Assembly)

Condition

Some customers may comment on one or more of the following conditions after the vehicle is started:

^ Fuel gauge is erratic or remains on empty.

^ Temperature gauge is erratic or remains on cold.

^ Driver Information Center (DIC) data is erratic.

Cause

These conditions may be due to two unique software issues within the I/P cluster assembly.

Correction

Modifications have been made to the I/P cluster software. Replace the I/P cluster assembly. Refer to the Instrument Panel & Console sub-section of the Service Manual for replacement procedures.
