The Numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
3. This step determines if the failure may be on the window switch side of the door module, or on the window motor and motor control circuits side of the door module.
4. This step checks to see that the door module associated with the inoperative window recognizes the switch input.
5. This step eliminates the module battery positive voltage and ground circuits associated with door module connectors C1 as the cause.
9. This step determines if the window switch or switch signal circuit may be the cause of the malfunction.
If the 3 amp jumper fuse opens when the jumper wire is connected, test the signal circuit for a short to battery positive voltage.
10. This step determines if the window switch or switch signal circuit may be the cause of the malfunction.
