IMPORTANT: The sunroof motor drive gear is made of nylon, care should be taken not to damage the slot in the drive gear.




The sunroof can be operated manually by simultaneously depressing and turning the center slot in the sunroof motor drive gear with a large straight-bladed screwdriver. The headliner will need to be removed in order to access then sunroof motor and perform this procedure. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
