Outside Air Temperature (W/UY9)

The outside air temperature parameter value is supplied by the Instrument Panel Integration Module (IPM) to the IPC via class 2 serial data messages. The outside air temperature parameter cannot be reset by the driver. The outside air temperature parameter is displayed on the DIC in one of the following formats:
^ XXX °F OUTSIDE TEMP
^ XXX °C OUTSIDE TEMP

The XXX represents the supplied temperature value. The units of the display will correspond to the current instrument cluster setting.
