Passenger Door Ajar

The IPC illuminates the PASSENGER DOOR AJAR - 141 indicator in the DIC when the passenger door is open and the transmission is out of park. If the vehicle speed is greater than 4.8 km/h (3 MPH), the IPC sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the Driver Door Module (DDM) indicating the door status.
