Lights On
The IPC illuminates the LIGHTS ON indicator when the Dash Integration Module (DIM) detects that the park lamps are requested. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the DIM indicating the park lamps status. The IPC continues to illuminate the indicator for 10 minutes when the ignition is turned OFF and the park lamps are active. After 10 minutes, the IPC requests the status of the lighting system from the DIM and continues to illuminate the indicator only if the park lamps status is active.Rear Fog Lamp (Export)
The IPC illuminates the rear fog lamp indicator when the following occurs:
^ The Dash Integration Module (DIM) detects that the rear fog lamps are requested. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the DIM requesting illumination.
^ The IPC performs the displays test at the start of each ignition cycle. The indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
Turn Signals
The IPC illuminates the right or left turn signal indicator when the IPC detects a turn signal or a hazard request. If the IPC determines that the turn signal is active for more than 1.6 km (1 mile), the IPC sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning.
