Shift Lever - Disassemble

1. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.
2. Disconnect the connector of the shift lever at the base of the steering column.
3. Remove the lead from the clip on the side of the ignition and key alarm switch assembly.
4. Slide the shift lever seal (3) up the shift lever (1).
5. Remove the shift lever screw (2).
6. Remove the shift lever (1).
7. Remove the shift lever seal (3) from the shift lever (1).
