Ignition & Key Alarm Switch - Assemble

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (2) and secure by using the 2 tapping screws (3).

Important: The lower tapping screw also attaches the electric park lock.
- Tighten the 2 tapping screws to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).
2. Install the key alarm connector (1) onto the lock module assembly (4).
3. Install the connector into the bottom of the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (2).
4. Put the lead in the clip located on the side of the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (2).





5. Install the coded key controller (2) onto the lock module assembly (1).





6. Connect the coded key controller connector.
7. Install the steering column lock cylinder set. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement - On Vehicle.
8. Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble - Off Vehicle.
