Turn Signal Cancel Cam & Upper Bearing Inner Race - Disassemble

- J 23653-SIR Lock Plate Compressor





1. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.
2. Remove the wave washer.





3. Remove and discard the bearing retainer (1) using J 23653-SIR.





4. Remove the following parts from the steering shaft assembly:
4.1. The upper bearing spring (1).
4.2. The upper bearing inner race seat (2).
4.3. The inner race (3).





5. Remove the shaft lock (1) from the steering shaft assembly.
6. Remove the turn signal cancel cam (2) from the steering shaft assembly.
