21. Forward Clutch ASM and Low Reverse Band Removal

- J 39053 Forward and Coast Clutch Assembly Puller





1. Remove the two 13-mm forward clutch support bolts (5) from the case.





2. Install the J 39053. Using a chain hoist or suitable lifting equipment, secure and lift the forward and coast clutch assembly (626-834) out of the case.

CAUTION: The forward and coast clutch assembly weighs approximately 50 lbs. Personal injury may result if you drop the assembly.





3. Remove the fretting ring (835).
4. Remove the Low and Reverse band (13).
