Outside Mirror (Auto - Day Night Mirrors)

This feature is controlled by the inside rearview mirror automatic day-night mirror, which contains 2 photocell sensors used to determine light conditions in the front and back of the vehicle. When the system is active, the inside rearview mirror supplies a signal through the automatic day/night mirror signal circuit and a low reference through the automatic day/night mirror low reference circuit to the element located inside the LH outside rearview mirror. At night, with the feature enabled, the LH outside rearview mirror automatically darkens, in conjunction with the inside rearview mirror, in order to reduce the glare from the headlamps behind. In the daytime, the mirror is in a normal state.
