Fuel System
CHECK FUEL GAGE - 50The IPC illuminates the CHECK FUEL GAGE - 50 indicator in the DIC and sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning when the IPC is in the gauges OFF mode and the fuel level is less than 18.9 liters (5 gallons). The IPC receives a class 2 message from the Rear Integration Module (RIM) indicating the fuel level.
CHECK GAS CAP - 61
The IPC illuminates the CHECK GAS CAP - 61 indicator in the DIC when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a malfunction in the evaporative emissions system or the gas cap is not seated properly. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination.
FUEL LEVEL LOW - 11
The IPC illuminates the FUEL LEVEL LOW - 11 indicator in the DIC and sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning when the fuel level is less than 11.4 liters (3 gallons). The IPC receives a class 2 message from the Rear Integration Module (RIM) indicating the fuel level.
SERVICE FUEL SYSTEM - 101
The IPC illuminates the SERVICE FUEL SYSTEM - 101 indicator in the DIC when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects certain malfunctions in the fuel system. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination.
