Dome Lamp: Service and Repair

DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the overhead console.




2. Remove the four fasteners from the lamp retainer (1).
3. Remove the lamp retainer.




4. Remove the bulb heat shield by pulling outward from the lamp.
5. Replace the necessary bulb.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the bulb heat shield.




2. Install the lamp retainer.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the fasteners, fully driven, seated, but not stripped.




4. Install the overhead console.
