Instrument Panel (V4U, APL)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the passenger (right) insulator panel.
3. Remove the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) from the instrument panel (IP) wiring harness.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
5. Remove the IP Inflatable Restraint Harness Assembly (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the IP Inflatable Restraint Harness (2).
2. Connect the electrical connector (1).
3. Install the CPA to the electrical connector.
4. Install passenger (right) insulator panel.
5. Enable the SIR system.
