SIR Steering Wheel Module Coil - Disassemble

1. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.
2. Remove the retaining ring (2) using snap ring pliers.
3. Disconnect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (1) connector from the wire harness assembly.
4. Slide the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (1) off of the steering shaft.
