Turn Signal & Multifunction Switch - Disassemble

Important: When removing the upper and lower trim covers, you do not have to remove the wire harness straps for the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly procedure.





1. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle Power Tilt/Telescope-Column Shift) or Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Power Tilt and Telescope, Floor Shift) or Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Manual Tilt, Floor Shift) or Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Manual Tilt, Column Shift).
2. Disconnect the connector(s) from the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly (3).
3. Remove the 2 pan head tapping screws (1) and (2) from the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly (3).
4. Remove the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly (3) from the steering column.
