Steering Column Control Module

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the steering column module (1).
3. Loosen the steering column control module retaining screw and slide the steering column control module out of retaining bracket.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the steering column control module (1) to the steering column and tighten the retaining screw.
- Tighten steering column control module retaining screw to 2 Nm (15 inch lbs.).
2. Connect the steering column control module electrical connectors.
3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
4. Program the steering column control module. Refer to Steering Column Control Module Programming.
