Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (DA1)

Removal Procedure




1. Open the doors.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
3. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Rear Seat Back Replacement).
4. Place the seat back, facing downward on a clean protected surface.




5. Remove the hog rings securing the closeout trim cover to the seat back pad.




6. Remove the 3 fasteners retaining the armrest bracket assembly to the seat back.
7. Remove the rear seat center armrest assembly out through the backside of the seat back.


Installation Procedure




1. Install the center armrest assembly into the seat back.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 3 fasteners in order to retain the bracket assembly to the seat back.

Tighten the fasteners to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

3. Install the rear seat back closeout trim cover.




4. Install the hog rings in order to secure the closeout trim cover to the seat back.
5. Install the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Rear Seat Back Replacement).
6. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
7. Close the doors.
