Heater Pipe Replacement - Outlet

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
2. Remove the vacuum control solenoid valve. Refer to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Replacement in Computers and Control Systems.
3. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater outlet pipe (2) using the J 38185.
4. Remove the heater outlet pipe.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the heater hoses to the heater outlet pipe (2) using the J 38185.
2. Install the vacuum control solenoid valve. Refer to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Replacement in Computers and Control Systems.
3. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.
