CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The BCM and IPC monitor their input voltages to determine if it is above 10.0 V.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The IPC measures the following conditions:
^ The engine speed greater than 1500 RPM
^ The battery positive voltage at the IPC or BCM 10 V for 2 seconds.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
^ The IPC displays the BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW message on the driver message center.
^ If the voltage tails below approximately 9.0 V, the IPC turns off all of the unneeded dimming VF display circuits.
