Door Ajar Indicator

DOOR AJAR - 141
The IPC illuminates the DOOR AJAR - 141 Indicator in the DIC when the IPC detects the passenger door is open and the transmission is out of park. If the vehicle speed is greater than 4.8 km/h (3 MPH), the IPC sends a class 2 message to activate an audible warning.

DRIVER DOOR AJAR - 140
The IPC illuminates the DRIVER DOOR AJAR - 140 indicator in the DIC when the IPC detects the driver's door is open and the transmission is out of park. If the vehicle speed is greater than 8 km/h (5 MPH), the IPC sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning.
