Scan Tool Data Definitions
8 Digit GM Part Number: The scan tool displays the eight digit pan number of the control module selected.Battery Voltage: The scan tool displays 9.0-15.0 volts. The state of the battery voltage supplied to the control module selected.
Calibration ID: The scan tool displays the calibration or program revision level used in the PROM of the control module selected.
Component Serial # 8-11: The scan tool displays digits 8 through 11 of the BCM serial number.
Component Serial # 12: The scan tool displays digit 12 of the BCM serial number.
Component Serial # 13-1: The scan tool displays digits 13 through 16 of the BCM serial number.
Component Serial # 17-1: The scan tool displays digits 17 and 18 of the BCM serial number.
Door Jamb Switch: The scan tool displays On/Off. The passenger door jamb switch input to the BCM, where an open door is displayed as On.
Door Key Cyl. Unlock Sw.: The scan tool displays On/Off. The driver or passenger door key cylinder input to the BCM, where the key cylinder transition to the Unlock position is displayed as On.
Door Lock Output: The scan tool displays On/Off. The driver or passenger door lock switch output from the BCM where the switch transition to the Lock position is displayed as On.
Door Lock Switch: The scan tool displays Idle/Lock/Unlock. The driver or passenger door lock switch input to the BCM, where the switch transition to the Lock or Unlock positions are displayed as Lock and Unlock.
Door Unlock Output: The scan tool displays On/Off. The passenger door lock switch output from the BCM, where the switch transition to the Unlock position is displayed as On.
Driver Door Ajar Sw.: The scan tool displays On/Off. The driver door lock switch input to the BCM, where an open door is displayed as On.
Driver Door Jamb Sw.: The scan tool displays On/Off. The driver door jamb switch input to the BCM, where an open door is displayed as On.
Driver Unlock Output: The scan tool displays On/Off. The driver door lock switch output from the BCM, where the switch transition to the Unlock position is displayed as On.
Fuel Level: The scan tool displays gallons. The scan tool displays the number of gallons remaining in the fuel tank as seen by the BCM.
Ignition Counter: The scan tool displays the number of ignition switch transitions as seen by the BCM.
Julian Date Of Build: The scan tool displays a four digit number representing the day of the year the module selected was built.
Left Mirror Outputs: The scan tool displays Idle/Left/Right/Up/Down. The mirror switch output from the MMM, indicating which direction the driver mirror is being commanded to move.
Left Mirror Switches: The scan tool displays Idle/Left/Right/Up/Down. The mirror switch input to the MMM, indicating which direction the driver mirror should be commanded to move.
Lt. Horiz. Mirror Pos.: The scan tool displays 0.25-4.75 volts. The driver mirror position sensor feedback voltage to the MMM.
Lt. Vertical Mirror Pos.: The scan tool displays 0.25-4.75 volts. The driver mirror position sensor feedback voltage to the MMM.
Memory Recall Switches: The scan tool displays Idle/Memory 1/Memory 2/Exit. The memory function switch input to the MMM, indicating which memory function is currently being recalled.
Passenger Door Ajar Sw.: The scan tool displays On/Off. The passenger door lock switch input to the BCM, where an open door is displayed as On.
PROM ID: The scan tool displays the four digit number of the PROM incorporated into the the control module selected.
Real Time Clock Hours: The scan tool displays a number representing the current hour of the day.
Real Time Clock Minutes: The scan tool displays a number representing the current minute of the hour.
Real Time Clock Seconds: The scan tool displays a number representing the current second of the minute.
Rear Defog Output: The scan tool displays On/Off. The rear defogger relay output from the BCM, where the relay being actuated is displayed as On.
Right Mirror Outputs: The scan tool displays Idle/Left/Right/Up/Down. The mirror switch output from the MMM, indicating which direction the passenger mirror is being commanded to move.
Right Mirror Switches: The scan tool displays Idle/Left/Right/Up/Down The mirror switch input to the MMM, indicating which direction the passenger mirror should be commanded to move.
