Hood Adjustment (Up/Down)

1. Use these front bumper dimensions (1) as a starting point.







2. Use the rear bumper (2) dimension as a starting point.
3. Adjust the rubber bumper (2) so that the rear hood panel is flush with the fenders.
4. After you adjust the hood, ensure that sufficient load remains on the front and the rear center hood stop bumpers in order to eliminate hood flutter. To do this, lower the primary hood latch an additional 3 mm (1/8 in) for front flutter. Do not adjust the center rear bumper for rear flutter.
