Rear Compartment Lid Adjustment

Front-to-Rear, Side-to-Side, and Up/Down Adjustments

1. Open the rear compartment.




2. Loosen the bolts (3).
3. Align the rear compartment lid (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Secure the bolts (3).

Tighten the bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

5. If necessary, complete front-to-rear and up/down lid adjustment at the hinge-to-rear shelf panel bolts.


Up and Down Adjustment at Rear Corners




1. Loosen the rubber bumpers (2) in order to raise the lid.
2. Tighten the rubber bumpers (2).
3. If necessary, loosen the rear compartment lid pull-down unit in order to complete the adjustment. Refer to Pulldown Unit Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid.
4. Close the rear compartment.
