Air Inlet Assembly Replacement
AIR INLET ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the air distributor duct.
2. Disconnect the mode actuator connector.
3. Remove the acoustic padding retainers and the other fasteners in the vicinity of the air inlet assembly.
4. Remove the upper fasteners that retain the air inlet assembly (1).
5. Remove the lower fastener that retains the air inlet assembly (1).
6. Remove the air inlet assembly.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the air inlet assembly using screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
2. Reposition the acoustic padding.
3. Install the padding retainers.
4. Install the air distributor duct.
