SERVICE STEERING SYS - 127The IPC illuminates the SERVICE STEERING SYS - 127 indicator in the DIC when the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) has detected a malfunction in the variable effort steering (VES) system. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination.
