Lighting System Indicators
HEADLAMPS SUGGESTED - 23The IPC illuminates the HEADLAMPS SUGGESTED - 23 indicator in the DIC when the IPC detects that the ambient light conditions are low enough that headlamps should be used during driving.
High Beam
The IPC illuminates the high beam indicator when the IPC detects that the high beams are requested.
Turn Signals
The IPC illuminates the right or left turn signal indicator when the IPC detects a turn signal or a hazard request. If the IPC determines that the turn signal is active for more than 1.6 km (1 mile), the IPC sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning.
TURN SIGNAL ON - 20
The IPC illuminates the TURN SIGNAL ON - 20 indicator in the DIC and sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning when the IPC determines that the turn signal is active for more than 1.6 km (1 mile).
