Fog/Driving Lamp Relay: Service and Repair
FOG LAMP RELAY REPLACEMENTTOOLS REQUIRED
J 43244 Relay Puller Pliers
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the washer hose.
3. Disconnect the retainer clip for the cruise control cable.
4. Remove the multi-use relay and fuse bracket cover (1).
5. Remove the electrical tape securing the relays.
6. Using the J 43244 remove the inoperative fog lamp relay from the multi-use relay and fuse center.
7. Remove the inoperative relay.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Using the J 43244 install the new fog lamp relay to the multi-use relay and fuse center.
2. Install the electrical tape in order to cover and secure the relays.
3. Position the multi-use relay and fuse bracket cover (1) to the bracket.
4. Engage the clips in order to secure the multi-use relay and fuse bracket cover.
5. Position the cruise control cable to the retention clip on the left strut tower.
6. Secure the retention clip.
7. Connect the washer solvent hose.
8. Close the hood.
