Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor (1).
2. Remove the retaining screw (2).
3. Remove the sensor (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the sensor (1) to the bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the sensor screw (2).

Tighten
Tighten the screw (2) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor (1).
