Window Fore and Aft Adjustment Procedure

1. Place the window in the up position.
2. Close the door.
3. Measure the space between the window and the B-pillar weather-strip retainer.

IMPORTANT: Moving the window too fast will cause the following conditions to occur:
- Increase the door closing effort.
- Reduce the window seal contact at the B-pillar.
- If the space is not within specification, perform the following procedures:

4. Ensure that the space is 6-7 mm (0.25 in).
4.1. Loosen the regulator to window sash charnel (1) bolts.
4.2. Reposition the window.
4.3. Inspect the adjustment.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Snug the sash channel bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the regulator to sash channel bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
