Power Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the door frame garnish molding. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement (Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement).




3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
4. Remove the three fasteners (3).
5. Disconnect the wire harness from the retainer clip and unseat the grommet.
6. Route the wiring harness through the hole in the mirror patch.
7. Remove the mirror (1) from the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Route the mirror wiring harness through the hole in the mirror patch.
2. Install the mirror (1) into the door frame.
3. Align the studs through the holes in the mirror patch.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the three fasteners in order to secure the mirror to the door.

Tighten the mirror fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).


* Top nut
* Forward nut
* Rear nut

5. Install the grommet by gently pulling into place.
6. Connect the electrical connectors.
7. Install harness into retainer clip.
8. Install the door frame garnish molding. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement (Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement).
9. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
