Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Unsnap and open the rear seat belt retractor cover (1).




2. Remove the retaining clip (1) securing the head restraint (2) to the retractor.




3. Remove the head restraint from the retractor.
4. If a repair to the head restraint cover is being made, complete the following steps:

* Dis-engage the head restraint cover J channel
* Remove the head restraint cover and the pad from the support shaft




Installation Procedure





1. Position the head restraint pad and the cover to the support shaft.
2. Engage the head restraint cover J channel.
3. Install the head restraint to the seat belt retractor.




4. Install the retaining clip (1) to the head restraint shaft in order to secure the head restraint (2).




5. Install the rear seat belt retractor trim cover (1).
