A/C Compressor Thermal Switch

The A/C compressor clutch contains an internal thermal switch The switch opens when compressor temperatures reach 152°C (305°F). The switch will close once temperatures drop down to 125°C (257°F). The thermal switch is serviced by replacement of the A/C compressor only.
