Transmission Hot, Idle Engine

The IPC illuminates the TRANS HOT IDLE ENGINE - 11 indicator in the DIC and sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that the transmission temperature is above the normal operating range. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination.
