Blower Motor Control Processor Replacement (RHD)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the left sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (LHD) or Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (RHD) in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
2. Remove the IP compartment.
3. Remove the DIM from the bracket.
4. Remove the 2 rear DIM bracket fasteners.
5. Reposition the DIM bracket in order to gain access to the blower control module.




6. Disconnect the blower control module electrical connector.




7. Remove the blower control module retaining fastener.
8. Remove the blower control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the blower control module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the blower control module retaining fastener.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.4 N.m (12 lb ft).

4. Install the DIM bracket and fasteners.
5 Install the DIM.
6. Install the IP compartment.
7. Install the left sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (LHD) or Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (RHD) in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
