Fuel/Rear Compartment Release Switch Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




The fuel/rear compartment switch uses skin locks which grab the soft skin material of the IP. The skin lock feature may cause the switch to be difficult to remove.
1. Remove the IP end cap.
2. Push from inside of IP towards the inside of the vehicle to remove the fuel/rear compartment switch (2) from IP.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector (1).
2. Align the fuel/rear compartment switch (2) to the IP and push firmly into IP retainer.
3. Install the IP end cap.
