Windshield Side Reveal Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the retainer located at the bottom of the reveal molding (1) by pressing the center stud.
2. Starting at the bottom of the reveal molding (1), pull the molding off of the windshield pillar flange.
3. Remove the molding from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Insert the top of the side reveal molding (1) into the end of the upper reveal molding (2).
2. Align the side reveal molding retainer clips to the windshield pillar flange.
3. Press down on the side reveal molding (1) to engage the retainer clips.
4. Tuck the rubber extension under the fender.




5. Reset the retainer by pushing the stud from the backside.
6. Insert the retainer through the rubber extension.
7. Press the center stud flush with the retainer in order to lock in place.
