Diverter Door Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Remove the HVAC Module.
2. Remove the mode actuator.
3. Disconnect the left temperature actuator electrical connector.
4. Remove the left temperature actuator screws (1).
5. Remove the left temperature actuator.
6. Remove the upper module case fasteners.
7. Peel back the foam at the heater inlet.
8. Remove the upper case.
9. Remove the actuator cam from the door.
10. Remove the diverter door.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the diverter door.
2. Install the actuator cam to the diverter door.
3. Install the upper module case.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the upper module case screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
5. Reapply the foam at the heater inlet.
6. Install the mode actuator.
7. Install the left temperature actuator.
8. Connect the left air temperature actuator electrical connector.
9. Install the left air temperature actuator screws (1).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
10. Install the HVAC module.
11. Recalibrate the actuators. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (DIM) or Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (IPM) or Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (RIM) in Body Control System.
