Right Rear Door Ajar

The RH Rear Door Module (RRDM) receives a discrete input from the RH rear door ajar switch. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) receives the status of the RH rear door from the RH rear door module (RRDM) via class 2 serial data message. When the RH rear door is open and the vehicle is out of the PARK gear, the DIC displays the message. Also, if the vehicle speed is greater than 4.8 km/h (3 mph), the IPC displays the message and sends a class 2 serial data message requesting 5 chimes to sound.
