Recirculation Door Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the HVAC Module.
2. Remove the recirculation housing screws.
3. Remove the recirculation housing.




4. Remove the recirculation actuator retaining screws (1).
5. Remove the electrical connector from the recirculation actuator.




6. Remove the recirculation actuator.
7. Remove the door from the housing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the door into the housing.
2. Install the recirculation actuator.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the recirculation actuator screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

4. Install the electrical connector to the recirculation - actuator.




5. Install the recirculation housing.
6. Install the recirculation housing screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

7. Install the HVAC module.
8. Recalibrate the actuators. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (DIM) or Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (IPM) or Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (RIM) in Body Control System.
