Drive Belt Replacement - Auxiliary

Removal Procedure





1. Loosen the auxiliary generator mounting bolts (1, 2).
2. Remove the auxiliary drive belt.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the auxiliary drive belt to the pulleys.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. While pulling upward on the auxiliary generator tighten the auxiliary generator adjusting bolt (1).
^ Tighten the auxiliary generator adjusting bolt (1) to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Tighten the auxiliary generator mounting bolt (2).
^ Tighten the auxiliary generator mounting bolt (2) to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
4. Start the engine and check for proper belt and accessory operation.
