Telescope Motor Assembly - Assemble -Off Vehicle





1. Install the white end of the telescope cable assembly to the steering column.
2. Install the black end of the telescope cable assembly thorough the spring cable and to the telescope drive motor assembly.





3. Snap on the potentiometer housing (3).
4. Install the telescope drive motor assembly (1) to the steering column.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the 2 TORX head screws (2).
^ Tighten the screws to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).

Caution: Refer to SIR Inflator Module Coil Caution in Service Precautions.

6. Connect the connectors of the telescope drive motor assembly (1).
7. Install the steering column into the vehicle.
8. Install the steering wheel onto the steering column.
9. Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
