Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Door. Water Deflector Replacement - Door
3. Remove the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Inner Belt (Sealing Strip Replacement - Inner Belt) .
4. Remove the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the window guide. Refer to Window Guide Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the module assembly (3). Refer to Latch Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
7. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Outside (Service and Repair) .
8. Remove the window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Door (Door Window Channel) .
9. Remove the outside rear view mirror. Refer to Motor Replacement - Power Mirror (Service and Repair) .
10. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Outer Belt (Sealing Strip Replacement - Outer Belt) .
11. Remove the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window (Door Window Weatherstrip) .
12. Remove the door bottom sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Door Bottom (Sealing Strip Replacement - Door Bottom) .
13. Remove the door.
14. Remove the door hinges. Refer to Hinge Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .




15. Remove the wiring harness clips from the inner door panel.




16. Remove the rubber conduit and the wiring harness (1) from the door (2).
17. Remove all the plastic nuts and retainers from the door shell.



Installation Procedure





1. Install all the retainers into the door shell that were removed during disassembly.
2. Install the door wiring harness clips to the inner door panel.
3. Route the wiring harness and the conduit (1) into the door (2).




4. Install the door hinges. Refer to Hinge Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the door.
6. Install the door bottom sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Door Bottom (Sealing Strip Replacement - Door Bottom) .
7. Install the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window (Door Window Weatherstrip) .
8. Install the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Outer Belt (Sealing Strip Replacement - Outer Belt) .
9. Install the outside rear view mirror. Refer to Motor Replacement - Power Mirror (Service and Repair) .
10. Install the window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Door (Door Window Channel) .
11. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Outside (Service and Repair) .
12. Install the module assembly (3). Refer to Latch Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
13. Install the window guide. Refer to Window Guide Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
14. Install the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
15. Install the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Inner Belt (Sealing Strip Replacement - Inner Belt) .
16. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Door. Water Deflector Replacement - Door
17. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
18. Check the door for proper adjustment. Refer to Door Adjustment (Adjustments) .
19. Adjust the lock striker if needed. Refer to Lock Striker Adjustment - Door (Adjustments) .
