Radiator Hose Replacement - Inlet

- J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front air deflector shield.
3. Drain the coolant.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Using J 38185 slide the hose clamp down the hose to remove the hose.
6. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) from the radiator.
7. Using J 38185 slide the hose clamp down the hose to remove the hose.
8. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) from the engine.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the radiator inlet hose (1) to the engine.
2. Install the radiator inlet hose (1) to the radiator.
3. Using J 38185 slide the hose clamps into their original position on the hose.
4. Install front air deflector shield.
5. Refill the cooling system.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
