Remote CD Changer Replacement (U1S)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the 2 bolts (1) from the floor bracket at the front of the (CD) changer.
3. Slide the (CD) changer (3) forward in order to release the changer from the floor pan.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the compact disc (CD) changer (3).




5. Remove the (CD) changer (3) from the mounting bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the compact disc (CD) changer (3) to the mounting bracket (2).




2. Connect the electrical connector (3).
3. Position the (CD) changer to the floor.
4. Slide the tabs on the bracket (3) into the slots in the floor.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the 2 bolts (1) to the front of the bracket into the floor.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

6. Close the rear compartment lid.
