Impact Bar Replacement - Front Bumper

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the front bumper fascia (2). Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper) .




3. Remove the retainers (3) that secure the impact bar (1) to the front bumper fascia (2).
4. Remove the front impact bar (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front impact bar (1) to the front bumper fascia (2).
2. Install new retainers (3) in order to secure the impact bar to the inside of the fascia.
3. Install the front bumper fascia (2). Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper (Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper) .
4. Lower the vehicle.
