Brace Replacement - Cross Vehicle

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.




2. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the brace (1) to the studs on the strut towers.
3. Remove the cross vehicle brace (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the cross vehicle brace (1) over the studs on the shock towers.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts (2).

Tighten the nuts to 21 N.m (16 lb ft).

3. Close the hood.
